About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist who understands the full lifecycle of SEO. from in-depth site audits and technical fixes to on-page optimization, link building, and digital PR. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on SEO initiatives that drive organic visibility, traffic, and conversions.
This role is ideal for someone who is both analytical and creative. highly organized, and an excellent communicator who can translate SEO insights into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. SEO Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals and target audiences.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and gap analysis to identify growth opportunities, and create comprehensive hub and spoke content strategy
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to integrate SEO best practices across all digital initiatives.
2. Site Audits & Technical SEO
- Perform **complete SEO audits** (technical, on-page, content, and off-page) using leading SEO tools.
- Identify technical issues impacting crawlability, indexation, and site performance (e.g., site speed, mobile-friendliness, structured data, canonicalization, redirects, XML sitemaps).
- Work closely with developers to prioritize, brief, and validate technical SEO fixes, create clear technical tickets/specifications as needed.
- Monitor and optimize site architecture, internal linking, URL structures, and Core Web Vitals.
3. On-Page & Content SEO
- Optimize on-page elements including titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and image alt text.
- Provide guidance to content brief team and SEO recommendations to writers and editors, ensuring content is search-focused and user-centric.
- Guide the creation and optimization of landing pages, blog posts, and other content for target keywords and topics.
- Conduct ongoing content audits to improve rankings, AI visibility, click-through rates, engagement, and conversions.
4. Off-Page SEO, Link Building & Digital PR
- Plan and execute white-hat link building campaigns (e.g., outreach, guest posting, resource link building, partnerships).
- Develop and support digital PR initiatives to earn high-quality coverage and backlinks from relevant publications and influencers.
- Monitor backlink profile health, disavow toxic links when necessary, and improve overall domain authority.
- Build and maintain relationships with publishers, bloggers, and industry partners.
5. Measurement, Reporting & Communication
- Track and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms.
- Create regular reports on rankings, traffic, conversions, and key SEO KPIs, with clear insights and next steps.
- Communicate findings, project updates, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders (marketing, product, leadership).
- Stay up to date with search engine algorithm changes, AI search, industry trends, and best practices, and proactively recommend adjustments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience in an in-house or agency role, managing end-to-end SEO campaigns.
- Proven experience with:
- Technical SEO (site audits, crawl & indexation, page speed, structured data, Core Web Vitals).
- On-page SEO (keyword mapping, metadata, content optimization, internal linking).
- Off-page SEO (ethical link building, outreach, digital PR).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with tools such as:
- Google Analytics / GA4
- Google Search Console
- SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, SE Ranking.)
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web technologies (enough to brief developers effectively).
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive site audits and turn insights into prioritized action plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex SEO concepts in simple terms.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on measurable results and continuous improvement.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Magento, etc.).
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user experience (UX) principles.
- Experience in digital PR, content marketing, or broader digital marketing channels
