Fractional Financial Operations Strategist (Part-Time)
10 Hours/Week | $6/Hour | Flexible Schedule (Must be available between 8AM–5PM PST)
We are hiring a “Fractional Financial Operations Strategist” — a modern, elevated role designed for a highly skilled accounting professional who can operate with CFO-level precision in a lean start-up environment.
This position combines Financial Management, Full-Charge Bookkeeping, and Strategic Cashflow Oversight across several businesses plus personal financial management. We are not looking for a new accountant. We want a seasoned professional who has already operated at a high level and brings deep experience, proactive thinking, and impeccable accuracy.
About the Role
You will be the financial backbone of multiple small but rapidly growing businesses and personal financial operations. You will manage day-to-day accounting, ensure books are clean and current, forecast budgets, prepare P&L statements, monitor cash flow, identify financial risks, and create clarity for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Full-Charge Bookkeeping & Accounting
Maintain accurate, timely books across multiple companies
Reconcile accounts, manage ledgers, categorize expenses
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure proper documentation and organized financial records
Financial Management & Analysis
Build and manage budgets across businesses
Conduct forecasting, revenue projections, and cash-flow analysis
Prepare detailed P&Ls and financial reports for leadership
Identify trends, red flags, and opportunities for optimization
Strategic Support
Implement best-practice systems and financial controls
Support founder with personal finance tracking and reporting
Assist with tax prep, compliance, and coordination with CPA when needed
Provide strategic financial guidance for early-stage ventures
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (CFO/CPA caliber strongly preferred)
Extensive knowledge of bookkeeping, financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting
Experience managing multiple businesses simultaneously preferred
High attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness
Must be able to make yourself available when needed (within business hours)
Tech-savvy and comfortable with modern accounting software and automation tools
Ability to work independently and handle sensitive data with discretion
Start-up experience is a plus
Schedule & Compensation
Part-time: 10 hours per week
Flexible hours between 8AM and 5PM PST
Pay: $6 per hour
