Virtual Assistant – Podcast Sponsorship Outreach (Remote)

Amplified Media is a strategic communications and media firm specializing in podcasting, media amplification, and brand storytelling. We partner with corporations, nonprofits, and mission-driven brands to bring their stories to life through powerful conversations and innovative media. Our network includes multiple podcast properties in tech, reinvention, women’s leadership, and community impact.
We are rapidly expanding our sponsorship portfolio and are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful Virtual Assistant to support our sponsorship outreach efforts.
Role Overview
The Podcast Sponsorship VA will research potential sponsors, manage outreach lists, contact brands, and schedule calls for our team. You are the first touchpoint companies encounter—so professionalism, clarity, and confidence matter. You will work closely with the President of Amplified Media and assist in driving sponsorship revenue for multiple podcast properties.
Key Responsibilities
-Research & Prospecting
-Identify brands aligned with each podcast’s mission, audience demographics, and content themes.
-Build potential sponsor lists using social media, directories, LinkedIn, podcast databases, and industry research.
-Vet prospects to ensure alignment and sponsorship capacity.
-Outreach & Communication
-Draft and send sponsor outreach
-Personalize outreach messages to each brand.
-Follow up with prospects on a consistent schedule.
-Track all correspondence in CRM (e.g., Airtable, HubSpot, or Notion).
-Scheduling & Coordination
-Book discovery calls and sponsorship meetings for the executive team.
-Maintain an organized pipeline of leads and follow-up tasks.
-Prepare brief sponsor profiles prior to scheduled calls.
-Reporting & Optimization
-Provide weekly updates on outreach numbers, responses, and conversions.
-Suggest new industries, angles, and opportunities based on outreach patterns.
-Maintain an organized database of all outreach efforts.
Ideal Candidate
-Experience in sales outreach, lead generation, podcast sponsorships, PR, or marketing.
-Strong written communication skills (professional, warm, persuasive).
-Comfortable with cold outreach and follow-up.
-Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
-Able to research creatively and identify aligned opportunities.
-Tech-savvy: capable of using CRM tools, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and
-Self-starter who works well independently and meets deadlines.
-Professional, positive, and aligned with a mission-driven brand.
This role has the opportunity to expand with more responsibility, promotion and full time. Potential Commission / Bonus available as well.
