Job Title: QBO Bookkeeper with Experience

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled QBO Bookkeeper or Staff Accountant to join our team.

Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online (QBO), supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work directly with internal teams and external clients to provide reliable bookkeeping and accounting support.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts using QuickBooks Online

Manage A/P and A/R, including vendor payments and client invoicing

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

Process payroll entries and remittances (as needed)

Assist with year-end preparation and coordination with external auditors

Support GST/HST filings and other regulatory submissions

Communicate with clients regarding financial information and document requests

Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives

Qualifications
Minimum 4+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online in a bookkeeping or accounting role

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Strong understanding of accounting and tax regulations

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and cloud-based tools (e.g., M365, Wagepoint)

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with clients in the professional services sector is an asset

Certification as a QBO ProAdvisor is a strong plus
