About the Role
I run 2 channels.
A) real estate–focused education for homebuyers in Tucson Arizona, and
B) recruiting agent YouTube channel into my brokerage, Exp Realty.
I’m looking for a full-time, in-house video editor who will work exclusively on my channels and grow with me over the next several years.
This is not a side gig. I want a long-term partner who:
Delivers insane quality, following Jeff Su videos.
I want every video of mine to look like Jeff Su's

2. Works fast and can handle 8 long-form videos per month
3. Has proven experience editing talking-head, educational YouTube content
4. Cares about details, pacing, and story as much as I do

Ali the Agent - teaching real estate agents how to get more clients
PCS to Tucson Arizona - helping military members buy a house in Tucson, Arizona
What You’ll Be Doing:
I give you 60–90 minutes of raw footage.
You convert into 20–40 minute YouTube videos
Deliver 8 long-form videos per month on a consistent schedule
Build high-retention hooks in the first 120 seconds
Pattern interrupts (B-roll, zooms, animations, graphics, text, sound effects) about every 3 seconds like Jeff Su
Maintain engagement for the rest of the video with:
Visual or audio changes about every 45–60 seconds
Add and balance:
B-roll, text and callouts, screen recordings, lower thirds, chapters, music, sound effects, transitions
Handle feedback & revisions:
Implement notes precisely, without missing details
Return revision rounds within 48 hours
Keep things organized:
Use Google Drive folders and file naming I provide
Update a simple status tracker for each video (e.g., “editing,” “awaiting feedback,” “final”)
Skills & Tools:
Expert in Final Cut Pro / Premiere Pro / DaVinci (any one is fine)
Strong sense of pacing, story, and hook creation
Excellent English comprehension and ability to catch typos on-screen
Work Style:
You are full-time available and willing to work exclusively on my channels
You hit deadlines, communicate early if something will be late, and handle multiple projects smoothly
You have a growth mindset, accept feedback calmly, and improve quickly
Tech:
Stable high-speed internet
Ability to handle large files via Google Drive
What You Can Expect Fro
Clear direction and examples of the editing style I want
Raw footage, audio, and brand assets delivered via Google Drive
Specific, actionable feedback so you know exactly how to improve
Long-term stability if we’re a fit: I plan to create content for many years
Respect for your time, including paid test work during the hiring process
Compensation
I care about quality + speed and I pay accordingly.
Base Rate: Negotiable
Must be open to BASE pay per video,
And if every edit is returned within 48 hours, I will pay you additional $$
Payment Terms:
Each video is paid once the final edit is uploaded to Google Drive and I can download it to post
Requirements
2+ years editing YouTube talking-head content
Portfolio with at least 3 long-form YouTube videos you personally edited
Able to commit to 8 long-form videos per month, long term
Willing to complete paid test project(s)
Willing to do a short Zoom call for communication fit
