We’re hiring an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Analyst (Virtual Position)!
Remote | Part-Time to Full-Time | US Hours (PST)
If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers, and enjoy working with spreadsheets and systems, this role is for you. You should be confident with invoices, reconciliations, and client follow-ups, and eager to grow in a structured, supportive remote team.
Work Schedule:
• Must be available during US business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PST)
• Starts as a part-time probationary role with potential to become full-time after 2 months based on performance
Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable Operations
• Create and send client invoices accurately and on time
• Record payments and update customer accounts
• Monitor aging reports and flag overdue balances
• Follow up on outstanding invoices via
• Maintain clean and organized A/R records in accounting and tracking tools
Billing & Data Management
• Ensure billing details (rates, terms, PO numbers, contact info) are up to date
• Help reconcile discrepancies between invoices, payments, and statements
• Maintain spreadsheets and trackers for A/R status, disputes, and follow-ups
• Support month-end A/R tasks and basic reconciliations
Reporting & Analysis (Basic)
• Prepare simple A/R reports (e.g., aging summaries, collections status)
• Update dashboards or Google Sheet reports regularly
• Highlight trends such as frequently late-paying clients or recurring issues
Cross-Functional & Admin Support
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, ops, finance) on billing questions
• Help collect required client documentation (W-9s, contracts, billing details)
• Assist in documenting and updating SOPs for invoicing and collections
• Support leadership with A/R-related admin tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, bookkeeping, or similar admin/finance roles
• Good spoken and written English
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (must be comfortable with formulas, sorting/filtering, and basic analysis)
• Familiarity with accounting or invoicing tools (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar) is a plus
• High attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions/SOPs
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Strong internet connection and a quiet working environment
