Full Job Description
We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Virtual Front Desk Assistant to support our healthcare team by managing patient communications, scheduling, and administrative tasks. This remote role requires professionalism, technical proficiency, and a compassionate approach to patient interaction.
Job Responsibilities
Answer and manage incoming phone calls and virtual video calls using HIPAA-compliant platforms.
Greet and assist patients virtually, providing information and directing inquiries appropriately.
Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and coordinate with medical staff.
Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health systems.
Assist other staff members with administrative tasks and coordination.
Perform general clerical duties including data entry, document preparation, and file management.
Ensure timely communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Technical Requirements:
Must have a working webcam for video calls.
Must have a dual-monitor setup to manage multiple systems efficiently.
Reliable high-speed internet connection.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a healthcare front desk or administrative role preferred.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and virtual communication tools.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
