JOB OVERVIEW

I run a growing digital agency in Australia and I’m looking for a dependable WordPress website designer who cares about clean, modern design as much as I do. We build websites for real service-based businesses (as well as maintain blog and directory sites), across many industries, so you must take pride in your work and understand that every build affects a client’s reputation.

What I’m Looking For:
- Strong design eye. You don’t need to be a coding wizard that's what AI is for. I want someone who designs beautiful websites
- Confident using Elementor and Astra (WooCommerce would be beneficial but not necessary)
- Good understanding of basic SEO and on-page optimisation.
- Can design for both desktop and mobile
- Someone who delivers consistent quality and follows brand guidelines.
- Someone who genuinely cares about user experience, structure, spacing, and flow.
- Reliable, communicates quickly, and respects deadlines.

What You’ll Work On:
- New websites for a variety of industries
- Service-based business websites
- Directory and blog websites
- Landing pages, sales pages, and redesigns
- Creating clean page layouts based on brand guidelines and sample references
- Sometimes but rarely an ecommerce website

Tools / Skills
- Elementor Pro
- Astra theme
- Canva (basic)
- SEO fundamentals
- WooCommerce (not required)
- Html and CSS tweaks (bonus but not required)
