JOB OVERVIEW

We're a growing shoe brand based in the US, focused on creating compelling content that converts. Our marketing runs across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, and we're looking for a talented video editor who understands the science behind high-performing ads.

The Role

We're hiring a Performance Marketing Video Editor to produce 2 videos per day, each with 3-5 hooks. You'll be creating scroll-stopping content that drives sales—not just pretty edits. This role requires someone who lives and breathes direct response video: hook rate, the first 3 seconds, pacing, visual selection, and everything that makes an ad perform.

You'll be editing:
- UGC-style ads
- Hook variations
- Testimonial-style content
- Lifestyle videos
- Podcast-style clips
- VSLs (Video Sales Letters)

What You'll Do

- Edit 2 high-quality performance videos daily with multiple hook variations
- Source and organize clips efficiently from raw footage
- Work from storyboards while also creating self-driven edits
- Understand what makes an ad convert (not just look good)
- Optimize pacing, emotion, and storytelling for paid social
- Collaborate with our team during weekly calls and feedback sessions

Requirements

? Minimum 1 year of experience in performance video editing (ads, UGC, or direct response style)
? Strong understanding of direct response marketing principles
? Able to source and organize clips efficiently from raw content
? Comfortable working from storyboards and creating self-driven edits
? Strong sense of pacing, emotion, and storytelling
? Open to doing a short trial task (30-second edit) — we want to see your skills in action
? Fluent in English and proactive in communication
? Available for weekly calls and feedback sessions
? SCROLL STOPPING HOOKS

Bonus Points

- Experience with shoe or fashion brands
- Understanding of platform-specific best practices (Meta, TikTok, YouTube)
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and creative iteration

How to Apply

Send us:
1. Your portfolio or sample work (performance ads preferred)
2. A brief note about your experience with direct response video
3. Your availability and preferred working hours

We'll follow up with a short trial task for qualified candidates.
