JOB OVERVIEW

We are an e commerce brand that designs and prints high quality desk mats and accessories. We are looking for a Philippines based illustrator who can help us create super trendy, not lame artwork for our seasonal drops.

This is a part time role to start, with the option to grow hours if we work well together. The most important things are taste, reliability, and consistency.

What you will do
• Create original illustrations for seasonal collections
• Examples: holiday drops, limited collabs, summer and winter themes, special events
• Work from moodboards and references and then push them into your own unique style
• Design with our audience in mind
• Gamers, anime fans, internet culture, clean modern aesthetics
• Prepare artwork for print
• Correct sizes and ratios
• Clean line work and enough detail to look great when printed large
• Revise designs based on feedback from our creative director
• Deliver organized files on time every week

What we are looking for
• Based in the Philippines and comfortable working with a team in California time zone (2-4 hours overlap per day is ideal)
• Strong illustration skills
• Characters, environments, or pattern work
• A style that feels current, tasteful, and internet aware
• You understand TikTok, Instagram, gaming, and anime culture
• Your art does not look like generic Fiverr logos
• Good communication and reliability
• You respond to messages
• You can hit agreed deadlines consistently
• Comfortable working in Procreate, Photoshop, or Adobe (any of these is fine)
• Able to follow a brief but also bring your own ideas

Nice to have
• Experience designing for merch or prints (mousepads, apparel, posters, etc)
• Understanding of basic layout and typography
• Experience working with international clients

Workload and payment
• Part time to start
• Example: 2 to 4 finished illustrations per week, plus small revisions
• Hours can grow if we see a good fit and consistent quality
• Payment in USD, sent weekly or biweekly via Wise or PayPal
• Please include your expected rate
• Either hourly or per finished illustration
