What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain modern, scalable web applications using TypeScript, Next.js, Nest.js, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers using structured intake and sprint systems.
- Implement features end-to-end — from API to front-end — with clean, maintainable code.
- Leverage AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor,
- Participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives — guided by PWM’s internal Operating System.
- Contribute to building internal tools and automation that streamline our development workflow.
- Review code, provide feedback, and help maintain a high standard of engineering quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, Nest.js, Vitest, Playwright, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
- Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns (API-first, component-driven, async workflows)
- Solid understanding of programming principles and design patterns
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and a passion for leveraging them effectively.
- Ability to collaborate across time zones in a structured, async-friendly environment.
- A growth mindset — eager to learn, improve, and contribute to evolving systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS products (EC2, Lambda, IAM, etc).
- Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology and version control (GitHub).
- Familiarity with Jira
- Prior experience in early-stage startups or software agencies.
- Exposure to AI integrations, embeddings, or LLM-powered features
