JOB OVERVIEW

BrandFi Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Product Sourcing Specialist who can identify profitable products and reliable suppliers for our dropshipping operations.

This role requires strong research ability, supplier negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of pricing, shipping logistics, and product quality.

We are not looking for someone who simply searches AliExpress. We need someone who understands how to find high-margin products, negotiate supplier pricing, and manage shipping efficiency.

Role Overview

The Product Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for finding products that can be sold profitably while maintaining strong supplier relationships and reliable shipping timelines.

You will identify suppliers, compare pricing across multiple platforms, negotiate costs when possible, and ensure shipping reliability.

The goal is to maintain high margins while ensuring product quality and fulfillment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Product Research & Sourcing

• Identify profitable products based on market demand and competition
• Source products from reliable suppliers
• Compare supplier pricing across multiple platforms
• Ensure product quality and supplier reliability

Supplier & Price Optimization

• Negotiate product pricing where possible
• Identify suppliers offering the best wholesale rates
• Monitor product cost changes and adjust sourcing strategy

Shipping & Fulfillment Management

• Identify suppliers with reliable shipping times
• Evaluate fulfillment options (AliExpress, CJ Dropshipping, private suppliers, etc.)
• Ensure shipping timelines meet customer expectations

Product Validation

• Evaluate product quality and supplier ratings
• Verify supplier reliability and fulfillment capability
• Check order processing times and return policies

Cost & Margin Analysis

• Ensure products maintain healthy profit margins
• Factor in product cost, shipping cost, and platform fees
• Recommend pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness

Daily Responsibilities

• Research and identify new product opportunities
• Compare supplier pricing and shipping options
• Build product sourcing lists with cost breakdowns
• Verify supplier reliability and fulfillment speed
• Maintain organized sourcing spreadsheets and supplier databases

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with dropshipping product sourcing
• Strong supplier research skills
• Experience evaluating product margins
• Understanding of shipping logistics and fulfillment timelines
• Ability to identify reliable suppliers and avoid low-quality vendors
• Strong attention to detail

• Experience with Shopify stores
• Experience sourcing from AliExpress, CJ Dropshipping, or private suppliers
