Handle patient scheduling, appointments, multi-phone line
Calling Referral Leads to get them scheduled for physical therapy visit (DMR Report)
Gather new patient data; keep track of all patient referrals and schedule in a timely manner
Disseminate information to patients; act as a go-between for patients and physical therapists
Collect all payments such a copayments, cancellation/no show fees over the phone
Handle all scheduling and ensuing communication
Answer phones, act as a patient liaison, answer any questions from potential or current patients
Schedule patients; coordinate evaluations, re-evaluations, appointment reminders and cancellations
Call established patients that have not scheduled for follow up therapy sessions.
Call patients who are not compliant with there plan of cares (PT wants 3 visits a week, and patient only scheduling 2 visits a week)
Collect new patient intake information; track all clinic referrals
Verify Insurance and track insurance-covered visits; take copayments
Communicate with the office manager and clinicians about scheduling/patient arrival
