Wedding Video Editor
About the Role
We're seeking a talented and passionate Wedding Video Editor for project-based work to help us create stunning cinematic memories for couples on their special day. You'll transform raw footage into beautiful, emotionally resonant films that our clients will treasure for a lifetime.
This is a project-based position with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment after establishing a successful working relationship.
Responsibilities

Edit wedding ceremony and reception footage into polished highlight reels, full-length films, and social media content
Color grade and color correct footage to achieve a cinematic, cohesive look
Sync audio from multiple sources including vows, toasts, and music
Add music, sound effects, and audio mixing to enhance emotional impact
Create engaging opening sequences, title cards, and end credits
Collaborate with videographers to understand the story and key ---------- nts of each wedding
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Organize and archive project files according to company standards
Stay current with editing trends in the wedding industry

Requirements
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Strong color grading and color correction abilities
Experience with audio editing and mixing
Knowledge of various video formats, codecs, and delivery specifications
Familiarity with motion graphics software (After Effects) is a plus

Experience & Qualities:

2+ years of video editing experience (wedding editing experience preferred)
Strong storytelling abilities and attention to detail
Ability to identify and highlight emotional ---------- nts
Excellent time management skills with ability to work under deadlines
Creative eye for pacing, composition, and visual aesthetics
Understanding of wedding day timelines and key ---------- nts
Reliable, organized, and professional communication style
