AI-Powered SEO Writer (Contractor / Remote)

About the Role
Jennings Social Media & MarTech (JSMM), an award-winning, woman-owned digital marketing and AI-powered agency founded in 2003, is seeking a talented and analytical SEO Writer who thrives at the intersection of AI, content, and conversion strategy. You’ll combine storytelling with data-driven insight—using tools like SEMRush, ScaleNut, Notion, and ChatGPT—to produce blogs, website copy, and landing-page content that ranks, converts, and aligns with each client’s brand voice.

You’ll collaborate closely with our technical SEO specialists, strategists, and creative team to ensure content supports overall funnel strategy and business goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about AI search, understands conversion optimization, and can blend AI-generated drafts with human polish to deliver compelling, on-brand writing.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct AI-assisted keyword and competitive research using SEMRush, ScaleNut, and ChatGPT to identify high-intent search opportunities.

Write and edit SEO-optimized website copy, blogs, and landing pages aligned with client brand tone and conversion goals.

Use AI prompt engineering to generate topic outlines, summaries, and draft content—then refine it to meet premium editorial standards.

Collaborate with technical SEO tea ---------- mbers on content strategy, internal linking, and performance tracking.

Review and interpret GA4, Search Console, and traffic reports to improve content performance and SEO strategy.

Maintain active communication via ---------- , Zoom, and WhatsApp to coordinate workflow and meet deadlines.

Stay ahead of AI search and generative SEO trends, continuously testing new tools and optimizing content workflows.

Provide examples or case studies showing content that has ranked, converted, or driven measurable business results.

Qualifications

3–4 years of proven experience in SEO content writing with demonstrated ranking or conversion success.

Proficient with AI tools (ChatGPT, ScaleNut, Notion, Jasper, etc.) and SEO research platforms (SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner).

Strong understanding of funnel strategy, user intent, and conversion copywriting principles.

Familiarity with GA4, Google Search Console, and on-page SEO best practices.

Excellent writing, editing, and research skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Reliable, deadline-oriented, and available Monday–Friday, preferably mornings until noon or early evenings (U.S. Central).

Strong communicator, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced virtual environment.
