As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a Sales & Client Engagement Manager to strengthen client relationships, improve communication systems, and support commercial growth across multiple markets.
???? About the Role
This is a key leadership position for someone who thrives on client communication, sales analysis, and digital innovation.
You’ll ensure clients receive outstanding service while leading commercial initiatives, coordinating with our Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising teams, and implementing CRM and online sales tools.
You’ll work remotely but stay closely connected to our New Zealand head office and regional teams.
???? Key Responsibilities
? Client Relationship & Communication
Serve as the main contact for key clients across APAC and Pacific markets
Maintain exceptional communication and service standards
Lead monthly online business meetings with key clients, alongside Sales & Marketing
Manage follow-ups, inquiries, and client feedback efficiently
? Sales Monitoring & Growth
Track and analyze sales by market, customer, and brand
Identify gaps and propose new products, promotions, or pricing actions
Prepare regular reports to support data-driven management decisions
? CRM Development & Communication Tracking
Design and manage a CRM system from scratch to centralize client data, follow-ups, and opportunities
Build structured sales funnels for active and dormant clients
Use automation or AI tools to improve visibility, tracking, and reporting
? Digital & B2B Platform Management
Oversee Oceania Distribution’s B2B online sales platform
Update product listings and launch online promotions
Suggest digital marketing and merchandising ideas to boost engagement and sales
? Merchandising Coordination
Work with the field merchandising team to ensure Merchandising Gold Standards
Review photos and in-store data to ensure visibility and compliance
Provide structured feedback and improvement plans
???? Qualifications
5–10 years of professional experience in Sales, Account Management, or Customer Service
Minimum 3 years in the FMCG industry (consumer goods, distribution, or retail)
Excellent English communication skills – written and spoken
Proven experience leading client relationships and online business reviews
Skilled in CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Airtable, Notion, etc.)
Analytical, organized, and tech-savvy
Familiarity with AI or automation tools is a plus
Experience across APAC or export markets is a strong advantage

Full-time remote position
Monday–Friday (flexible hours to coordinate with APAC time zones)
Reports directly to the Managing Director (New Zealand)
Works closely with Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising teams
