JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workflow Automation Engineer to design, build, and optimize our ecosystem of automated business processes. You will be the central architect of our digital workflow strategy, utilizing a powerful stack including Zoho Creator, Zapier, n8n, and emerging AI-powered automation tools. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem-solver who can translate complex business needs into elegant, scalable, and robust automated solutions. This is a hands-on technical role with a significant impact on our operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture: Analyze business processes across departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Ops) to identify automation opportunities. Design end-to-end workflow architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.

Development & Implementation:

Build sophisticated custom applications and modules within Zoho Creator to replace manual processes and legacy systems.

Develop complex, multi-step workflows in Zapier and n8n to connect our SaaS ecosystem (e.g., CRM, ERP, Communication tools, Databases).

Integrate third-party APIs and webhooks to create seamless data flow between disparate systems.

Advanced Scripting & Customization:

Write advanced custom scripts in Deluge (Zoho) to manipulate data, enforce business logic, and create complex functions.

Utilize JavaScript and JSON extensively for API interactions, data parsing, and custom code steps within Zapier, n8n, and other platforms.

Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing, AI/ML model integration, and handling automation tasks beyond the scope of low-code platforms.

AI Automation Integration: Explore, prototype, and implement AI and Machine Learning tools (e.g., OpenAI API, custom models) to enhance workflows with intelligent document processing, predictive analytics, and natural language capabilities.

Systems Integration & Management: Act as the subject matter expert for our integration platform. Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot all automated workflows to ensure high reliability and uptime.

Documentation & Training: Create comprehensive technical documentation, process flowcharts, and user guides. Mentor junior tea ---------- mbers and train business users on new systems and processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

3-5 years of professional, hands-on experience in a role specifically focused on business process automation, integration, and application development.

Expert-level proficiency with the core automation stack:

Zoho Creator: Deep experience in building complex multi-page applications, writing advanced Deluge scripts, and connecting to the broader Zoho One suite.

Zapier: Proven ability to build multi-step Zaps with complex paths, filters, and logic.

n8n: Strong hands-on experience in building, deploying, and self-hosting n8n workflows, with a clear understanding of its advantages and use cases compared to Zapier.

Advanced Programming Skills:

JSON: Expert in structuring, parsing, and transforming JSON data for APIs.

Python: Strong skills for scripting, data analysis, and building custom integration solutions.

Deluge: Deep functional knowledge of Zoho's native scripting language.

Solid understanding of RESTful API principles, OAuth, and webhook mechanisms.

Experience with SQL and relational databases for data querying and management.

Proven ability to manage multiple automation projects from conception to deployment, including gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., REplit, Make (Integromat), n8n).

Familiarity with AI/ML APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google AI) and their practical application in automation.

Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Knowledge of DevOps principles for CI/CD in the context of low-code deployment.

Zoho Creator Developer Certification or similar credentials.
