Tier 1 Technician (with Web & Design Support Functions)
Department: Service Team
Projected Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Dispatch Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (During onboarding training for 60 days)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Tier 1 Technician (with Web & Design Support Functions) to join our Service Team.
This hybrid role blends technical support, web development, and digital design responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a versatile problem-solver who thrives in both IT support and creative environments.
You will primarily provide Tier 1 service desk support , assist with web development tasks , and contribute to design and digital marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Service Desk & Technical Support (60%)
Act as the first point of contact for technical issues via HaloPSA, email, and phone.
Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting for user issues (hardware, software, and connectivity).
Create, assign, and manage tickets; escalate as needed to higher tiers.
Maintain service notes, documentation, and ensure SLA compliance.
Coordinate dispatch between clients and higher-tier technicians.
Web Development & Digital Support (30%)
Update and maintain company websites (WordPress or similar CMS).
Implement layout and style improvements following brand guidelines.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to align web content and SEO efforts.
Support internal web portal and knowledge base enhancement initiatives.
Graphic Design & Digital Marketing Support (10%)
Design digital materials such as posters, social media content, infographics, and presentations.
Use Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality visuals.
Ensure all design outputs meet brand standards and project requirements.
Assist with internal communications and digital marketing campaigns.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
Experience in IT Service Desk or Tier 1 support environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows, macOS, and Office 365.
Familiarity with ticketing systems (HaloPSA or equivalent).
Proficiency in WordPress (content editing, plugin configuration, page layout).
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of domain/DNS management and hosting basics.
Creative / Design Skills
Proficiency in Canva for marketing and design projects.
Experience in web and graphic layout design.
Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or XD).
Understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and brand consistency.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
High attention to detail and creative thinking.
Strong time management and multitasking skills.
Adaptable and proactive in both technical and creative tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in IT or Service Desk roles with exposure to design/web work.
Experience in an MSP or IT support environment.
Coursework or certification in Web Development, Graphic Design, or Digital Media.
Experience maintaining or building WordPress-based websites.
Portfolio showcasing web and design work (preferred).
