As a trusted local retailer with decades of experience, we’re now looking for a motivated and skilled Digital Marketing & SEO Coordinator to help grow our online presence and drive in-store and online sales.
Position Overview
The Digital Marketing & SEO Coordinator will be responsible for improving our search engine visibility, managing our social media platforms, and creating engaging content that strengthens the George Gooley and Jean House brands. This role involves both strategic planning and hands-on execution — ideal for someone who loves seeing measurable growth from their work.
Key Responsibilities
SEO & Website Management
Research and build out keyword lists to target for both brands.
Track current keyword rankings using SEO tools or platforms of your choice.
Implement on-page and technical SEO strategies to improve rankings and visibility.
Provide monthly reports on keyword performance and traffic growth.
Monitor overall website SEO health and ensure steady increases in organic traffic.
Use WooCommerce to update product descriptions, optimise content, and manage blogs.
Develop and execute a strategy to increase website SEO traffic and online sales.
Social Media & Content Creation
Manage and grow the George Gooley social media channels, and potentially Jean House accounts.
Plan, create, and post engaging content that drives traffic to stores and online.
Respond promptly to messages and comments to maintain strong customer engagement.
Develop campaigns that align with store promotions, seasonal events, and new product launches.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in SEO, social media management, or digital marketing.
Strong understanding of WooCommerce, WordPress, and online content optimisation.
Experience using SEO analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs).
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Creativity and initiative to develop fresh content ideas and marketing strategies.
