Remote Property Damage Estimator (Water & Fire & Mold Mitigation) – Contract / Per-Project Basis

We are a fast-growing property damage restoration company specializing in emergency water, fire, and mold mitigation services. Our team helps property owners recover quickly and efficiently after disasters, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.

Position:
We are seeking an experienced Virtual Estimator to join our team on a remote, per-project basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing mitigation estimates for water, fire, mold, board-up damage restoration projects and a keen eye for detail. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, has excellent technical estimating skills, and wants flexible, remote work.

Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate mitigation estimates for water, fire, mold, and board-up projects using industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Xactimate).

Review project documentation (photos, moisture logs, job notes, docusketch, sketches) to develop accurate estimates.
Ensure estimates align with industry standards and company guidelines.

Revise and update estimates based on field feedback or management requests.

Communicate with project managers or field teams to clarify job details and scope when needed.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience writing water, fire, mold, board - up estimates.

Proficiency with Xactimate (required). Xacimate certification is a must.

Strong knowledge of IICRC standards and restoration industry practices.

Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Must work on Eastern-Standard time.

Compensation:
Per-project pay – competitive compensation based on estimate writing skills, and Xactimate level, and speediness.
