Our accounting firm is seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. At our company, we provide back-office accounting and financial services to clients in a range of industries. We are looking for someone who:
Can ensure proper recording of financial transactions
Provide support in the accounts payable and receivable processes
Work closely with vendors and clients to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
If you have a strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel, and proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop, ---------- , and Appfolio, that would be a big plus. Responsibilities include:
Ensuring proper recording of financial transactions and adherence to accounting policies
Providing support in the accounts payable and receivable processes
Working closely with vendors and clients to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
Conducting regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
Preparing accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting principles
Analyzing financial data and providing insights to management for decision-making
If you have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, are detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, and have strong organizational and time management skills, we want to hear from you. Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, and a CPA or relevant certification is a plus. Please note that the hours are 9AM-5:30PM EST.
