The Challenge
The hard part in lending isn’t selling the money — it’s fulfilling it.
Our Funding Coordinator is managing a heavy pipeline — chasing documents, packaging applications, submitting to lenders, and tracking approvals.
That’s where you come in.
The Role: Funding Coordinator Assistant
You’ll be the right hand to our senior Funding Coordinator — helping keep deals organized, documents collected, and clients informed.
Your job is to make sure every file moves smoothly from “application” to “funded.”
Note: You may do all or part of these responsibilities depending on workflow, volume, and your skill set.
Your daily responsibilities:
Follow up with clients for missing documents (bank statements, tax returns, IDs, etc.)
Upload and organize documents in Google Drive and our CRM (GoHighLevel)
Maintain trackers and spreadsheets with deal status, lender, and progress notes
Communicate with clients via
Prepare lender submission packets under guidance from the Funding Coordinator
Create daily progress reports on active files and pending docs
Assist in credit optimization — helping clients prepare for funding by:
Reviewing personal and business credit profiles
Tracking action plans to improve credit scores and utilization
Keeping clients accountable to paydowns, tradeline additions, and monitoring goals
Ensure clients always feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the process
Who You Are
Extremely organized — you love checklists and keeping multiple projects on track
Strong communicator — professional, clear, and concise in English
Detail-oriented — accuracy matters to you
Tech-savvy — comfortable with CRMs (GoHighLevel), Google Drive, and Slack
Reliable and proactive — you take initiative and follow through
Experience in lending, banking, credit repair, or financial services is a strong plus
