About Us

Hateley Motorsport is an Australian Wingless Sprint Car race team with a YouTube and social media presence.
Our content includes race vlogs, behind-the-scenes videos, and instructional features that showcase the energy and emotion of grassroots motorsport.
We’re looking for a reliable, creative video editor to join the team long-term and help elevate the look, feel, and storytelling of our content.


Position Summary

We’re hiring a remote video editor to produce 1 main video per week (10–20 minutes) plus several short-form highlight clips for social media.
This is a consistent, ongoing role with room to grow into additional creative and social responsibilities.


Your Weekly Tasks

Edit 1 long-form vlog or instructional video (10–20 minutes)
Design 1 YouTube thumbnail
Cut 3–5 short-form clips (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels) featuring highlights, action, or funny ---------- nts
Add music, captions, transitions, and motion graphics
Use our licensed Lickd music library for background tracks
Deliver content on a consistent weekly schedule


What We’re Looking For

Experience editing YouTube or social media content
Strong storytelling and pacing with attention to flow and energy
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred) — DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut also fine
Ability to export both 16:9 (YouTube) and 9:16 (Shorts/Reels) versions
Reliable communication and ability to take direction
Open to integrating your own editing style into our existing brand look — we want your creativity to help evolve our visual identity, not just replicate it
Bonus: interest in motorsport, racing, or action content


Workload & Compensation

Weekly pay — negotiable based on experience and skill
Average workload: 1 long-form video + 3–5 shorts per week
Extra editing opportunities during major race events (2–3 weeks per year, paid extra)
Potential to take on social media posting and management tasks as the role expands
