THE ROLE
Mill Creek Marketing is hiring a Marketing Technical & Automation Specialist to build, maintain, and improve the systems that power our clients’ marketing and sales pipelines.
This role is for someone who is deeply experienced in GoHighLevel and marketing tech infrastructure — not a beginner.
You will be responsible for the technical backbone of client delivery, ensuring that funnels, websites, tracking, automations, and integrations are built correctly and operating smoothly.
This is not a task-only role.
We are looking for someone who:
• Understands how marketing systems actually work
• Can take direction and run with projects independently
• Identifies opportunities to improve systems and client experience
• Builds clean, reliable infrastructure that scales

We specialize in building the marketing and sales systems contractors need to scale profitably — including lead generation, pipeline management, automation, and sales system infrastructure.
Our clients rely on us not just for marketing, but for the systems behind the marketing.

THE KIND OF PERSON WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE
You may be a great fit if you:
• Are extremely detail-oriented and very thorough
• Naturally think in systems and processes
• Enjoy solving technical problems
• Take ownership of your work without being chased or micromanaged
• Are comfortable figuring things out independently when needed
You don't wait to be told every little step and sub-step. You take the objective and direction given to you and execute it intelligently, asking for help when you've exhausted your other resources.
COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS
We run a high-accountability team and rely on clear, proactive communication.
You will be expected to:
• Check Slack and ClickUp daily
• Communicate blockers or confusion early
• Update tasks and progress consistently in ClickUp
• Respond promptly during main working hours (9am-5pm CST)
THIS ROLE IS DEFINITELY NOT A GOOD FIT FOR YOU IF:
• You need step-by-step instructions for everything
• You frequently miss details, rush through work, or often have to correct or redo your work
• You disappear for long periods without communication
• You are not comfortable troubleshooting technical issues
• You take feedback personally and are hurt by it, rather than as a chance to grow and get better
THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT FOR YOU IF:
• You enjoy building marketing systems
• You like fixing broken tech and improving processes
• You are highly organized, thorough, and detail-oriented
• You want to grow with a fast-moving team
