LawVisory is seeking a skilled full-time remote lawyer with expertise in legal and compliance matters. Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with U.S.-based clients. This role will be integral in supporting our legal and compliance team.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal and compliance support related to securities, tax, business, M&A, regulatory compliance, digital assets, capital markets, FinTech, and financial industry standards.
Review, draft, and maintain compliance documentation, policies, and procedures in accordance with U.S. regulatory requirements.
Conduct research and analysis on applicable laws, rules, and regulatory developments affecting the firm and its clients.
Assist with regulatory filings, due diligence, and risk assessments for financial transactions and investment activities.
Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to ensure adherence to ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
Support ongoing training, audit preparation, and compliance monitoring efforts across relevant business units.
Maintain clear communication with U.S.-based colleagues to ensure timely alignment on compliance issues.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed lawyer in the Philippines (member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in legal practice or compliance, preferably in securities, M&A, Fintech, corporate, or financial regulatory environments.
Knowledgeable in FINRA regulations, U.S. securities laws, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within a multinational team and adapt to cross-border communication dynamics.
Must be based in the Philippines and available to work on a U.S. Eastern Time schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with U.S. clients or law firms, financial institutions, or compliance teams based in the U.S. is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with SEC and FINRA filing systems or experience with broker-dealer compliance.
Postgraduate studies or certifications in compliance, finance, or U.S. securities law are advantageous.
