JOB OVERVIEW

We are a dynamic and fast-growing e-commerce company seeking an experienced Video Editor to join our team on Upwork. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating, editing, and optimizing video content for e-commerce brands. Responsibilities:
Edit and produce high-quality videos tailored for various digital platforms, including social media ads, pro duct launches, and customer testimonials.
Work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure video content aligns with overall business goals and brand guidelines.
Develop creative video strategies to enhance engagement, drive sales, and improve customer retention.
Implement feedback and revisions quickly while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting tight deadlines.
Use video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools to produce and refine content.
Incorporate sound design, color grading, motion graphics, and effects to enhance video quality and storytelling.
Stay up-to-date with the latest video trends and techniques, ensuring content remains fresh and cutting-edge.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing your work in e-commerce or related industries.
Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills to interpret briefs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and design principles.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to optimizing video performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the e-commerce industry, especially with Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brands.
Familiarity with AI tools and platforms for video editing or optimization.
Knowledge of social media platforms and how to create content for specific channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
Understanding of basic color correction, motion graphics, and sound editing techniques.
Experience with A/B testing and optimizing video content for improved engagement and conversion rates.
