Job Description
Buzz Digital Agency is seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress & Webflow Website Developer to architect, build, and maintain client-facing websites. You’ll leverage both no-code/low-code platforms and custom front-end scripting to deliver polished, performance-optimized sites on time, every time. If you’re passionate about web craftsmanship and thrive in a remote environment, we want to hear from you!
Roles & Responsibilities

* Client Website Builds
* Architect, develop, and deliver fully responsive websites in WordPress (Elementor/Divi/ACF) and Webflow
* Configure themes, templates, custom fields, and page-builder layouts to match design comps
* Domain, Hosting & Deployment
* Manage DNS settings, SSL certificates, hosting environments (staging & production), and backups
* Oversee deployment workflows and rollback procedures
* Custom Front-End Enhancements
* Write clean, maintainable JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for animations, sliders, and form validations
* Implement lightweight scripts to extend CMS functionality without heavy back-end work
* Integrations & Automations
* Connect sites to email-marketing tools (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign), CRMs (GoHighLevel), payment gateways, and Zapier/Integromat
* Configure and test webhooks and RESTful API calls for seamless data flow
* Performance, Security & SEO
* Optimize images, implement caching and minification for fast load times
* Ensure on-page SEO fundamentals are in place (meta tags, structured data, sitemap)
* Harden sites against common vulnerabilities (XSS, SQL injection, brute-force)
* Collaboration & Version Control
* Partner with designers, marketers, and PMs to translate requirements into scalable solutions
* Maintain code in Git, perform peer reviews, and uphold branching/merging workflows
* Quality Assurance & Maintenance
* Conduct manual (and where feasible, automated) testing to catch regressions
* Troubleshoot, debug, and provide post-launch support—including uptime monitoring and error-log reviews
* Documentation & Client Handoff
* Prepare step-by-step documentation and training materials for client site management
* Provide a 30-day post-launch support window and live handover sessions
* Continuous Improvement
* Research and recommend new tools or processes to boost efficiency and quality
* Share knowledge via internal demos or lunch-and-learn sessions

Nice-to-Have: Mentoring junior developers; experience with Jira/Trello; familiarity with Google Analytics/Tag Manager.
Qualifications

* 5+ years of professional experience in WordPress and Webflow website development
* Advanced skills with Elementor, Divi, ACF, and Webflow CMS
* Strong command of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end customizations
* Proven track record integrating third-party services via APIs and webhooks
* Deep understanding of DNS, SSL, hosting platforms, and deployment workflows
* Proficient with Git and collaborative development practices
* Excellent English communication—written and verbal
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated in a remote setting

Performance Review & Increase: After a 3-month probationary period and successful milestone delivery, we’ll conduct a formal review with the opportunity to increase base pay toward mid-market rates.
