Freelance Video Editor (Gig-Based with Opportunity for Full-Time)

About Us:
We’re 175 Productions, a Northern California-based video production team specializing in commercial, documentary-style, and event videography also Podcasts. We work with organizations and brands to produce compelling, story-driven videos that connect with their audience.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a freelance video editor who’s passionate about storytelling through visuals and takes pride in fast, high-quality work. Communication and reliability are key we’re looking for someone who can meet deadlines, take feedback well, and collaborate efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

Edit a variety of projects, including interviews, event recaps, and promotional videos

Work closely with our team to maintain consistent style, pacing, and brand standards

Deliver clean, polished edits with strong attention to detail and sound design

Handle multiple projects with quick turnaround times

What We’re Looking For:

Strong communication and responsiveness

Proven experience in video editing (please include portfolio or samples)

Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro (or Final Cut/DaVinci Resolve)

Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines

Creative eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual flow

Nice to Have:

Experience with motion graphics and color grading

Familiarity with corporate, event, or documentary-style editing

Compensation:

Gig-based to start (paid per project)

Potential for ongoing and full-time work as we build trust and workflow
