Our brand is looking for a full-time Direct Response Video Editor to join our fast-growing e-commerce team!
As our video editor, you will be responsible for turning raw footage, UGC, stock, and briefs into high-converting ads that run across Meta, TikTok, and other paid channels. You’ll work closely with our creative strategists to bring concepts to life, iterate quickly, and deliver engaging ads that resonate with our target audience (primarily consumers aged 40+).
This isn’t just about editing — it’s about creating ads that convert. We’re looking for someone with a deep understanding of direct response marketing who can combine speed, creativity, and attention to detail to produce scroll-stopping videos that perform.

You’ll be working directly with strategists and founders, producing ads that reach millions of people every month. You’ll join a passionate, smart, and hardworking team with zero politics, no corporate nonsense, and a focus only on results.

Key Objectives
- Edit 8-15 direct response video ads per week (mainly 3 min mini VSLs).
- Produce multiple variants of hooks for each concept for testing.
- Apply platform best practices (Meta/TikTok safe zones, pacing, etc.).
- Collaborate with creative strategists to bring briefs/scripts to life.
- Turn raw UGC/testimonials into polished, engaging ads.
- Implement clear CTAs, captions, and motion graphics as per SOP.
- Deliver edits in Frame/Trello with proper organization & naming conventions.
- Iterate quickly on feedback and resubmit within 24h when revisions are required.
Requirements
- Fully remote, flexible schedule.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Direct Response Expertise: 2+ years editing for DTC/e-commerce brands or agencies.
- Strong portfolio of paid social ads (Meta/TikTok a must).
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, After Effects (or DaVinci/CapCut if equally strong).
- Ability to edit fast without sacrificing quality.
- Skilled in text animations, captions, pacing, and effects that drive engagement.
- Understanding of performance-driven editing (knowing what makes people stop scrolling).
- Experience with AI tools (voice cloning, Arcads, Runway, etc.).
- Bonus: ability to create simple motion graphics or VFX
- Bonus: ability to generate short clips with AI (Veo, GPT…)
Accountabilities
- Deliver high-quality edits on time — no missed deadlines.
- Complete revisions within 24h of feedback.
- Follow brand guidelines (colors, fonts, captions).
- Attention to details, make sure to start your application or include in the title the word Blue
- Ensure every video is engaging, entertaining, and never boring.
- Maintain organized project files, naming conventions, and Frame/Trello workflow.
- Constantly push creative limits and bring fresh editing ideas.

We hire within 7–10 days of starting interviews and value fast communication.
Salary Expectation
USD $15,000 – $25,000 per year (depending on experience) + performance-based bonuses.
