Our established US law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Case Manager to manage a dynamic caseload spanning Personal Injury and Criminal Law. This role is the central hub for our clients' cases, ensuring every detail is tracked and every deadline is met during critical times in their lives.
This position starts as part-time, but we are specifically looking for a candidate who can grow into a full-time, key member of our team based on performance. If you have deep experience in these fast-paced legal areas and want a long-term career opportunity, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Case Management:
· Personal Injury: Conduct diligent follow-up on medical records with hospitals and providers; draft client correspondence; open and submit insurance claims; prepare medical record packets.
· Criminal Law: Assist with managing case milestones; track court dates and filing deadlines; handle client status updates.
· Draft and send critical correspondence (exit letters, updates) to clients and providers across all case types.
· Communicate with clients via text and
CRM, Calendaring & Administrative Precision:
· Log all incoming
· Upload attachments and update task statuses for the Case Manager in our CRM.
· Print/Save
· Manage the firm calendar: Accurately enter all deadlines, court dates, hearings, and appointments.
Must-Have Qualifications (Non-Negotiable):
· Proven Experience in US Law: Minimum of 2+ years as a Case Manager, Legal Assistant, or Paralegal for a US-based law firm. Direct experience with Personal Injury AND/OR Criminal law is required.
· Software Proficiency: Must be highly proficient with Clio Manage. Experience with calendaring critical deadlines is essential.
· Impeccable English: Exceptional written and spoken English is a strict requirement for direct, sensitive communication with US clients, courts, and providers.
· Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to manage multiple tasks and urgent deadlines without letting anything slip through the cracks.
