JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: AI Agent Software Engineer (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week)
Compensation: $6.50/hr (Starting Rate)

About the Role:
We are looking for an AI Agent Software Engineer to join our team full-time and help accelerate the development of our production-level AI application. You will be working closely with leadership to build, refine, and scale AI agents powered by GPT Realtime and other OpenAI models, while integrating with real-world services and tools.
This role is ideal for someone with solid problem solving skills, an interest in AI agent workflows, and the ability to execute high-level plans into production-ready features.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AI agent workflows using TypeScript + Express.
- Integrate AI agents with external tools/services (e.g., GPSInsight, Twilio, QuickBooks via Intuit APIs).
- Work with GPT Realtime for live agent interactions and other OpenAI models for specialized tasks.
- Implement reliable, production-ready features (error handling, scaling, monitoring, etc.).
- Use AI coding agents where applicable to improve development efficiency.
- Research and prototype new AI/automation features.
- Collaborate with leadership and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Express.js.
- Experience building and deploying production-level applications.
- Experience with building AI agent workflows (planning, tool usage, orchestration).
- Comfort working with OpenAI APIs (GPT Realtime and others).
- Strong problem-solving and research abilities.
- Collaborative mindset and openness to learning.
- Openness to use AI Coding Agents in their workflow for faster and efficient working speed

Nice to Have:
- Experience with Twilio (calls, SMS, email), GPSInsight (GPS tracking), and QuickBooks/Intuit integrations.
- Background or familiarity with inventory management or accounting systems.
- Experience with RAG, vector databases, or knowledge graphs.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
