Job Type: Full-Time (Remote)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience ($5–$8 per hour)
Working Hours: Flexible, must have at least 4 hours overlap with EST/PHT business hours
About the Role
The Expert Video Editor will be responsible for producing engaging, high-converting ad creatives for Meta, Google, and YouTube campaigns. This role requires strong storytelling ability, technical editing skills, and an understanding of what drives performance in paid advertising. The Video Editor will work closely with ad experts and strategists to craft videos that stop the scroll, capture attention, and drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into polished, compelling video ads for social media and paid campaigns.
Apply motion graphics, captions, and effects to enhance engagement.
Adapt videos for multiple platforms and formats (FB, IG, YT, TikTok, Display).
Collaborate with marketing strategists to align creatives with campaign goals.
Continuously test new creative approaches to improve performance.
Stay current on video trends, editing techniques, and advertising best practices.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a video editor, ideally in digital marketing or advertising.
Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, etc.).
Strong portfolio showcasing ad creatives or social media content.
Understanding of what drives conversions in performance marketing creatives.
Ability to adapt editing style to different brands and audiences.
Preferred
Experience creating short-form content for TikTok and Reels.
Knowledge of copywriting and ad psychology.
Skills in graphic design and motion graphics.
