Location: Remote (working for a Dutch company in the kitchen & bathroom sector)
Contract: Full-time preferred, part-time possible (24–36 hours per week)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Google SEO & WordPress Specialist to take full ownership of the online visibility and performance of four WordPress websites in the kitchen and bathroom sector in the Netherlands (Dutch websites). These include an inspiration platform, a designer website, a comparison website focused on price & quality, and an bathroom store.

This is a strategic and technical role. You will be responsible for all SEO, technical optimizations, Google Maps optimization, conversion improvements, and ongoing performance monitoring. Our team provides the Dutch blog content, but everything else – planning, keyword research, technical SEO, reporting, and growth – will be in your hands.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a complete SEO strategy across 4 WordPress websites.
• Perform technical SEO audits and resolve all site-related issues (crawl errors, speed, Core Web Vitals, etc.).
• Manage Google Search Console, Analytics, and AI-driven search changes to ensure strong visibility.
• Conduct keyword research and provide clear instructions for Dutch (Netherlands) content writers.
• Optimize all on-page elements: meta tags, internal linking, structured data, headings, and images.
• Build and execute linkbuilding campaigns to grow authority.
• Optimize Google Maps / Business Profile for local visibility.
• Work with CRO tools (ConvertBox, VisitorTracking, Site Behavior) to increase conversions and improve user experience.
• Create regular performance reports with actionable insights.
• Stay up to date with Google AI developments and core updates to adjust strategies proactively.

Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years proven experience in SEO, technical SEO, and WordPress.
• Strong track record in ranking websites and improving conversions.
• Solid experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google AI developments.
• Proficiency with SEO research tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush (or similar).
• Experience with WordPress troubleshooting (themes, plugins, minor coding adjustments).
• Background in conversion optimization and CRO testing.
• Knowledge of Google Maps / local SEO.
• Experience in the housing, renovation, construction, kitchens, bathrooms, or interior industry is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with tools such as NeuronWriter, Siteguru, Screpy, SiteBaheviour, VisitorTracking, (or ability to quickly learn them).
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate data into results.
• Fluency in English (reading Dutch is a plus, but not required).
