I am a senior international property executive managing complex investments and developments across Australia, Europe, and the Middle East. I am seeking a Strategic Assistant on an hourly, on-call basis who can support me with day-to-day activities that go beyond the scope of a standard executive assistant.
This is not a simple calendar/email management role. I need someone sharp, ambitious, and detail-oriented who can take ownership of junior-level tasks that are vital to freeing my time for high-level negotiations, strategy, and decision-making.
The role is hourly and flexible — you will be available on-call to take on tasks as they arise. Hours will vary week to week, depending on workload.
Responsibilities
Drafting and formatting documents (letters, memos, board papers, simple legal/finance comparisons).
Conducting property, planning, and market research (e.g., zoning rules, comparable developments, tenant intelligence).
Extracting and organising financial/technical data into spreadsheets and reports.
Supporting financial analysis and modelling — preparing first-pass feasibility models, sensitivity tables, and cashflow summaries (training provided where needed).
Assisting with project coordination – maintaining trackers, following up with consultants/agents, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Reviewing financial statements, leases, or facility agreements at a first-pass level and preparing summaries.
Supporting
Requirements
Strong academic or professional background in business administration, property, finance, or law (graduates welcome).
Excellent written and spoken English.
High-level attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) — especially comfortable with Excel for analysis and modelling.
Research skills and the ability to process complex information into clear summaries.
Proactive mindset — able to anticipate needs and take initiative rather than waiting for step-by-step instructions.
Hours are very flexible and we can work around different schedules.
