JOB OVERVIEW

We serve our customers by providing dependable, top quality hay and forage products with customer service that they can count on when challenges arise.

We are looking for our next social media marketing director. This is a part time position (20hrs week) and will require creativity in making daily posts for the company's social media platforms.

This position has three primary responsibilities:

1. Day-to-day social media outreach(copying and pasting pre-written messages, then notifying the president and conveying interested leads)
2. Creating content for social media posts.
3. Other simple Virtual Assistant requests as they may arise.

Our business and our industry are quickly evolving, and we need someone who is willing to be flexible, learn new processes and when needed, and, from time to time, have minor changes in job responsibilities as the business requires.

We believe in providing clear, documented instructions for our employees. As such, we are in the process of documenting what we would like our new Virtual Assistant to do, while recording on a Loom video, how we recommend completing the tasks, and the specific outcomes and reports that we would like to see on a regular basis. We communicate with email, phone and Zoom when needed, and we provide documented work instructions via Google Docs and Loom videos.

We will teach you the appropriate timeline, follow up process, and reporting procedure for helping us ensure that these important documents get where they need to go without any bottlenecks.

Our successful candidate will have:

-Strong internet research skills

-Mastery of Google Docs / Sheets

-Ability to use Zoom and Loom with video conferencing when needed

-Great interpersonal skills

-Good phone / email skills

-Patience and persistence to complete sometimes tedious tasks over and over again each day
