We are seeking a detail-oriented, deadline-driven Order Processor to join our distribution operations team. The ideal candidate will ensure all domestic shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time, while maintaining compliance with national retailer routing guides and internal standards. This position requires a high degree of responsibility, a sense of urgency, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Download and process orders daily from Opal EDI, Meijer, Amazon, and other proprietary retailer systems.
- Enter orders into our ERP system and process them for shipping.
- Ensure shipments comply with national retailer routing guides and shipping requirements.
- Coordinate with carriers (FedEx, UPS, LTL, and truckload) for timely pickup and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels, shipping progress, and arrival dates to prevent delays.
- Prepare and distribute weekly Excel reports to update sales reps and customers on shipment status.
- Generate additional shipping and performance reports as needed.
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and operations teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred).
- Prior experience processing Amazon, Target, Walmart, Meijer, or other large retailer orders.
- Hands-on familiarity with EDI systems.
- Proficiency with FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written).
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and last-minute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Acumatica ERP a plus.
- Willingness to work the hours of 6am to 2:30pm US PST
