As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly skilled Google PPC Specialist to join our remote team and take ownership of managing, optimising, and scaling our clients’ paid media campaigns.
Role Overview
The Google PPC Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, Shopping, and YouTube. The role requires someone with a strong analytical mindset, deep knowledge of Google Ads, and a proven track record of delivering successful PPC campaigns with measurable results.
This is a client-facing role, so communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain performance insights in simple terms are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Management
Plan, set up, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, Shopping, and Video.
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting.
Write compelling ad copy aligned with client goals and brand tone of voice.
Optimisation & Performance Tracking
Monitor and optimise campaigns to maximise ROI and achieve KPIs (CTR, CPC, ROAS, conversions).
Conduct regular A/B testing on ads, landing pages, and targeting strategies.
Stay ahead of Google Ads platform updates, algorithm changes, and best practices.
Reporting & Client Communication
Build and deliver clear, data-driven reports for clients.
Translate performance data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Attend client calls to present results and discuss campaign strategies.
Collaboration & Growth
Work closely with the wider Echelon Media team (SEO, content, design, social) to align campaigns with broader marketing strategies.
Contribute ideas for new opportunities to improve client acquisition and retention.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience (2–4 years) managing Google Ads campaigns at agency or brand level.
Google Ads Certification (Search, Display, Shopping, Video) preferred.
Strong understanding of:
Google Ads Manager & Merchant Centre
Conversion tracking & Google Tag Manager
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Remarketing and audience segmentation
Experience with e-commerce, lead generation, and multi-channel campaigns.
Proficient in budget management, forecasting, and ROI optimisation.
Excellent copywriting and ad creation skills.
Strong numerical and analytical abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Microsoft Ads (Bing).
Familiarity with Meta Ads
Knowledge of landing page optimisation and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation).
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Slack).
