The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media & Podcast Content Specialist to:
- Take our recorded video content.
- Turn it into polished, engaging, optimized posts across all major platforms.
- Edit, publish, and track results so our content goes live consistently and reaches as many moms as possible.
Important: We are not looking for an agency or someone juggling multiple clients.
This is an in-house, long-term position for someone who wants to grow with us.
Responsibilities
- Edit 30 short videos per month (Reels/TikToks/Shorts) from raw recordings.
- Edit 2 long-form videos per week for YouTube.
- Extract audio ? publish as podcast episodes via Captivate.
- From each long-form video, create 5–7 short clips for Reels/TikTok/Shorts.
- Add captions, overlays, and b-roll where needed.
- Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and
- Write platform-appropriate captions/descriptions:
* Short, search-friendly descriptions on YouTube Shorts.
* Engaging captions with hashtags for Instagram.
* TikTok captions that match platform tone and trends.
- Upload and format podcast show notes/blog posts on WordPress for SEO.
- Create thumbnails and simple graphics (Canva/Photoshop).
- Maintain a posting calendar and ensure all content goes live on time.
- Track performance (views, saves, clicks) and provide weekly reports.
Skills Needed
- Strong video editing (CapCut, Descript; Premiere a plus).
- Experience publishing podcasts (Captivate or similar).
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and
- Understanding of platform-specific best practices for captions and descriptions.
- WordPress/SEO basics.
- Canva or Photoshop for thumbnails/graphics.
- Excellent written English (grammar + natural captions).
- Organized and able to manage a content calendar (ClickUp experience a plus).

Hours & Communication
- ~25–30 hours per week.
- Must be available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–1 PM EST (US overlap).
- Daily communication via Slack.
Compensation
- US $1,000–$1,600 per month depending on experience.
- Room to grow with performance and long-term commitment.
- Performance-based bonuses possible.
Trial Task (Paid)
- Edit a 10-minute raw video into a polished YouTube upload.
- Create 2 short clips with captions/overlays.
- Write a YouTube title, description, and podcast show notes.
