We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Monitoring Station Manager to oversee the launch and day-to-day operations of our new UL-listed Monitoring Station in Makati City. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with UL 827 standards, Philippine regulatory requirements, and company operating procedures while delivering exceptional monitoring services for fire, life safety, and security systems.
Station Launch & Setup:
Lead the build-out, staffing, and certification process for the new Monitoring Station in alignment with UL 827 and local AHJ requirements.
Establish SOPs for signal handling, escalation protocols, redundancy, and disaster recovery.
Coordinate with vendors, IT, and facilities for systems installation, testing, and commissioning.
Operations & Compliance:
Manage daily operations of the Monitoring Station, ensuring all signals are processed within required response times and service levels.
Maintain UL compliance through regular audits, documentation, and adherence to UL 827 operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with local labor, data privacy, and telecommunications laws.
Implement and maintain redundancy and continuity plans (backup power, communications, data systems).
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and manage monitoring station staff (operators, supervisors, IT support).
Develop shift schedules and oversee 24/7 coverage with full redundancy.
Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and quality assurance checks.
Technology & Systems:
Oversee monitoring software, receiver systems, and network infrastructure, ensuring uptime and reliability.
Liaise with IT/security vendors for system updates, patches, and cybersecurity protocols.
Track, troubleshoot, and escalate system faults or outages.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as primary point of contact for escalations, audits, and customer inquiries related to monitoring services.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 5+ years of experience in central station monitoring, fire/life safety, or security operations.
Strong knowledge of UL 827 requirements and supervisory station standards.
Familiarity with fire alarm and security system signaling, telecommunications, and IT infrastructure.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a 24/7 environment.
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.
