JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for a skilled and creative video editor to join my team and edit long-form YouTube videos (10–30 minutes). My channel focuses on Amazon FBA, e-commerce, and business content, and I need an editor who can turn raw footage into engaging, polished videos that keep viewers watching until the end.

This will be a long-term position with consistent work each week.

Responsibilities:
• Edit raw video footage into high-quality long-form YouTube content
• Add b-roll, stock footage, images, and graphics to support storytelling
• Incorporate captions, text callouts, and animations where needed
• Improve pacing, flow, and storytelling to maximize viewer retention
• Edit in a modern YouTube style (jump cuts, zooms, pattern interrupts, etc.)
• Collaborate with me on feedback to refine editing style over time
• Deliver final videos ready for upload in 16:9 format (optimized for YouTube)

Requirements:
• Proven experience editing long-form YouTube content (please provide portfolio or sample work)
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Ability to add b-roll, graphics, text, and sound effects to enhance videos
• Creative storytelling & understanding of YouTube editing trends
• Strong English comprehension (to understand context and flow of videos)
• Reliable internet connection & ability to meet deadlines consistently

Preferred (but not required):
• Experience editing content in business, finance, or e-commerce niches
• Knowledge of YouTube SEO best practices (thumbnails, pacing, retention strategies)
• Ability to also edit short-form clips (TikTok/Reels/YouTube Shorts) for repurposing
