JOB OVERVIEW

We’re a small but growing construction company. We need a Digital Business Manager (DBM) who will analyze the bottlenecks that currently depend on the Director and systemize them so the business runs without constant top-level intervention.

You’ll turn real operational pain points into SOPs, Work Instructions (WIs), and Templates/Forms aligned with our document system, then drive adoption across teams using Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, Excel, Teams).

Responsibilities
• Map recurring bottlenecks across procurement, materials, motor pool, finance/admin, and site support; identify what must stop depending on the Director.
• Design approval matrices, request templates, and routing rules; escalate only exceptions.
• Write clear SOPs and WIs (with screenshots where useful) and create reusable templates/forms.
• Set up simple trackers/dashboards in Excel on SharePoint/OneDrive; keep documents version-controlled.
• Train staff, run short adoption sessions, and audit compliance; iterate to remove friction.
• Run a concise weekly ops review (risks, blockers, KPIs, decisions).

Qualifications
• 4+ years in operations/procurement/project coordination (construction or related industries preferred).
• Proven experience writing SOPs/WIs and rolling them out successfully.
• Strong English writing; concise and structured communicator.
• Confident with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint libraries, OneDrive, Word/Excel) and basic screen recording for quick walkthroughs.
• Organized, assertive, and comfortable enforcing standards.

Nice to Have
• Contractor-side experience (MRF -> RFQ -> PO, 3-way match, cash advance & liquidation, inter-project materials transfer, motor-pool/fleet).
• Light process automation in the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., forms/approvals, simple Power Automate flows).

What Success Looks Like (first 60–90 days)
• Top 15–20 SOPs/WIs and templates published and in use.
• > 70% of routine approvals handled without Director involvement.
• Weekly ops summary and KPI snapshot delivered consistently.

First line of your message must be: “I read and follow instructions.”

Include in the body:

- 3-sentence intro + your city.

- Why I’m a fit (3–5 sentences): the most relevant SOP/WI work you’ve done and Microsoft 365 tools you use (SharePoint/OneDrive/Word/Excel/Teams).
