We are seeking a remote Service Coordinator for our fire & life safety company located in Los Angeles, California.
About the role:
You will investigate active and recently completed work orders to determine their real status: whether the technician will arrive on time, what work remains relative to the scope, or, if completed, exactly what was done and which materials were used so billing is fast and accurate. You will coordinate across an onshore Los Angeles team and an offshore team in the Philippines.
Schedule:
You must be available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time (UTC?7, Los Angeles), which corresponds to 12:00 midnight to 8:00 AM Philippine Standard Time (UTC+8) the next calendar day.
What you will do:
Monitor our dispatch board and work order bookings; proactively confirm technician ETAs via phone and alert dispatchers as necessary.
Review scope of work and technicians' notes, clarifying as needed; identify remaining tasks vs completed items and flag gaps.
Inform the right people of what remains to be done.
Log every touchpoint in the work order.
