About the Role
We’re hiring a UI Designer to craft intuitive, conversion-focused interfaces across our four Shopify storefronts (multiple brands). You’ll turn business goals into elegant UI, building a shared design system that keeps each site distinct while driving a consistent, high-performing shopping experience.
Responsibilities
Design clean, modern UI for PDPs, collection pages, navigation/mega-menus, on-site search & filters, carts/checkout customizations, landing pages, and account areas—with a mobile-first mindset.
Build and maintain a multi-brand design system (components, tokens, documentation) to scale UI across all four sites.
Translate requirements and customer insights into high-fidelity Figma mockups and clickable prototypes with clear specs for engineering.
Partner with our marketing team to improve conversion (layout, hierarchy, trust, badges, upsells, bundles, cross-sell, social proof).
Collaborate with devs to ensure high-quality implementation in Shopify (Liquid/sections) and modern front-end stacks; support design QA before/after launch.
Design templates for campaign/affiliate/influencer landing pages and align on-site UI with Klaviyo
Apply accessibility (WCAG) and performance-minded UI patterns (image ratios, lazy loading considerations, scalable iconography).
Iterate based on analytics, user testing, heatmaps, and A/B results; document learnings and roll improvements into the system.
Keep brand consistency across sites while expressing each brand’s voice through typography, color, motion, and micro-interactions.
Qualifications
3+ years in UI design with 2+ years focused on e-commerce (DTC or marketplace).
Expert in Figma (components/variants, auto-layout, prototyping, design tokens); familiarity with Sketch or XD is a plus.
Strong command of typography, color, spacing, layout, and responsive design.
Experience building and maintaining design systems and collaborating closely with developers.
Comfortable working from business requirements, communicating tradeoffs, and iterating quickly in a remote environment.
Portfolio demonstrating shipped e-commerce UI (PDP/PLP, nav, filters, cart/checkout, landing pages).
Bonus Points
Familiarity with Shopify (themes/sections, Liquid basics), Tailwind/React patterns, or motion guidelines.
Experience with CRO & analytics tools (GA4, Hotjar/Clarity, VWO/Optimizely) and running structured UI experiments.
Knowledge of Klaviyo and aligning on-site UI with lifecycle/email.
Background in collectibles, consumer goods, or live-commerce experiences.
