Compensation:
Probation (First 2 Pay Periods, ~1 Month): $150 every 2 weeks ($300/month) for 20 videos.
Part-Time (~Month 2–3): $200 every 2 weeks ($400/month) for 28 videos.
Full-Time (After 3 Months): $300 every 2 weeks ($600/month) with increased responsibilities and output expectations.
Payment Schedule: Biweekly via agreed method.
Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and reliable Video Editor to join our team. You will be responsible for producing 6–9 short-form videos per week (~36/month) optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
This role includes both:
Editing down long-form content (e.g., podcasts, interviews, event footage) into engaging, social-ready clips.
Editing multiple short-form videos in bulk with consistent branding and style.
If you can edit efficiently (around 1 hour per video), keep up with trends, and ensure posts are delivered consistently, this role is a great fit for you.
Responsibilities
Edit 6–9 short-form videos per week (~36/month minimum).
Repurpose long-form contented captured footage into clips with engaging hooks, captions, transitions, and branding.
Edit multiple short-form video batches in bulk.
Add text animations, subtitles, sound design, and effects where needed.
Ensure videos are optimized for vertical format (9:16).
Upload and post approved content directly to Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Stay updated with current short-form trends and editing styles.
Communicate with the team on deadlines, revisions, and improvements.
Qualifications
Proficient in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects. Capcut experience will be considered.
Experience editing short-form social media content (portfolio required).
2 years experience video editing professionally.
Ability to edit efficiently (~1 hr per video).
Understanding of social media posting and optimization.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.

Flexible working hours, as long as deadlines are met.
Month 1 (Probation): $150 per pay period ($300/month).
Month 2–3 (Part-Time): $200 per pay period ($400/month).
After 3 Months (Full-Time): $300 per pay period ($600/month).
Biweekly pay via agreed platform.
