I’m looking for a proactive Virtual Assistant who can handle basic online research and local information lookups for me. You’ll be my go-to resource for finding practical answers quickly, saving me time, and keeping me updated in real time.
Tasks Include:
Looking up flight prices and availability (domestic and international).
Finding fun or unique date spots, restaurants, lounges, or activities.
Checking hotel rates, amenities, and availability.
Estimating drive times and traffic conditions in real time.
Researching event availability (concerts, sports, local happenings).
Finding new fun places opening and the manager's name so I can visit them and meet the owner or manager.
Providing cost comparisons (e.g., Uber vs. rental car, hotels vs. Airbnb).
Sending me results via text or WhatsApp, and if I approve, following up with an
Occasional phone calls to confirm availability or bookings.
Requirements:
Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
Ability to text and call (U.S. numbers) using WhatsApp or another method.
Comfortable with United States geography, especially Dallas, Texas and the surrounding areas.
Fast and resourceful researcher using Google, travel sites, and maps.
Reliable internet and availability to respond during U.S. Central Time (Dallas) working hours.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with U.S. travel websites (Skiplagged, Expedia, Kayak, OpenTable, Google Maps, Yelp, etc.).
Experience working as a personal assistant or travel concierge.
Compensation:
Part-time or full-time depending on availability.
Rate: $3–$6/hour (depending on experience) or fixed monthly salary for consistent hours.
Long-term role for the right candidate.
