We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor who’s not only skilled in traditional editing but also comfortable using AI tools to speed up workflows, enhance creativity, and push boundaries in short-form content.
Responsibilities
Edit engaging short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) from raw footage, music videos, behind-the-scenes, and promotional material.
Use AI-powered tools (e.g., Runway, Adobe Sensei, Descript, CapCut, Midjourney) to streamline editing, create effects, generate assets, or improve turnaround time.
Cut, sync, and enhance footage with music, effects, motion graphics, and captions.
Adapt content for different platforms and aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
Stay up-to-date with social media trends and viral editing styles, especially within the music and entertainment industry.
Collaborate with creative directors, social media managers, and clients to deliver on-brand, high-quality videos.
Organize and manage media assets to ensure efficient workflows.
Requirements
Proven experience as a video editor with a strong short-form content portfolio.
Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and willingness to experiment with new technologies.
Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and editing techniques for maximum engagement.
Knowledge of current trends on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
