JOB OVERVIEW

Own the data engine behind deal flow. At Axia Growth, you’ll build Clay playbooks and scraping workflows that surface hard-to-reach targets at scale - then make them cheaper and faster every week. Big datasets, real autonomy, flexible/async work, and a clean path to owning the sourcing & enrichment function.
Why This Matters
We help investors and intermediaries source more lower-middle-market deal flow. To do that at speed and quality, we live by ownership, speed, and attention to detail. In this role, details are the product. If you love tightening loops, documenting patterns, and shipping quietly effective systems, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and iterate Clay playbooks/templates for sourcing & enrichment.
Cut Clay credit burn: implement waterfalls, webhooks, and our own API keys where sensible.
Wire ---------- automations (and webhooks) to orchestrate scrapes, enrichers, and QA.
Use third-party tools like Outscraper when needed; choose the right tool for the job.
Normalize, dedupe, and QA; deliver lists into Google Sheets, Go High Level, and Smartlead.
Document patterns, create SOPs, and make the system repeatable for others to run.
Work async with at least 2 hours/day overlap with EST; ship outcomes, not meetings.

You’ll thrive if you: love big, messy datasets; have hands-on Clay experience; enjoy shaving costs; and can move from idea ? working automation fast.
Must-haves
Clay power user: custom playbooks, branching, webhook steps, credit management.
Web scraping & enrichment experience (mix of native Clay + third-party tools).
---------- (or similar) for orchestration; comfort with webhooks and APIs.
Strong documentation/organization habits; you leave clear trails others can follow.

Nice-to-haves
Basic Python/JS (regex, API wrangling, Playwright/Puppeteer familiarity).
Experience with LinkedIn/Sales Nav, company sites, maps, review sites, databases, and other common sources.

Logistics
Independent contractor (hourly), part-time, fully remote.
Flexible hours, with ?2h/day EST overlap.
Start: ASAP.
Tools budget and learning investment; clear path to grow into owning the data function.

Process
Apply with your resume and a short note on relevant Clay work.
Info request if you pass the screen (we’ll ask for examples/brief details).
30-minute interview (focused, technical, no fluff).

Disqualifiers (to save you time)
No Clay experience.
No scraping/enrichment experience.
Weak documentation/organization.
