Altenew, a New York-based paper crafting products company, is seeking a Senior Graphic & UI Designer to join our fast-paced e-commerce design team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creativity and design who is eager to make an impact on both visual branding and user experience across web and mobile platforms. (

Responsibilities:
Design a wide range of print and digital assets: product packaging, social media graphics, ads, eBooks, catalogs, promotional materials, and interactive PDFs
Create visually stunning, user-friendly interfaces for our eCommerce website and mobile experience
Translate business needs and user feedback into elegant, intuitive UI solutions
Build responsive web designs that deliver seamless shopping experiences across desktop and mobile
Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality
Lead and manage design projects from concept to execution
Provide constructive feedback to fellow designers and uphold visual consistency
Stay updated with emerging design trends and technologies in both graphic and UI/UX fields
Skills Required:
At least 5+ years of graphic design experience (strong Adobe Creative Suite skills including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills).
Strong portfolio showcasing both creative visual design and UI projects
Knowledge of user-centered design, including user flows, personas, and interaction design
Strong understanding of responsive design principles for web and mobile
Exceptional attention to detail.
Self-starter.
Excellent English communication and writing skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills to give the team direction.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable designing in a wide range of formats, i.e. social media, print, web.
Update existing designs and artwork as needed or requested by the team lead.
Proactively identify potential problems and offer solutions to keep projects on track.
Assist with quality assurance of banners before launch.
Ability to analyze user feedback, site metrics, and testing results to iterate UI improvements

Key Qualifications:
The position is remote. Applicants must be self-motivated with reliable internet, a dedicated workspace, and a genuine desire to continuously learn and grow.
Hours are flexible, but employees must be available to work from 9 AM–6 PM EDT, U.S. weekdays.
