JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Certified Accountant based in the Philippines who is experienced in U.S. tax preparation and proficient with TaxAct software. This is a remote freelance position assisting with tax filings, reconciliations, and financial reporting for U.S.-based clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file individual and business tax returns using TaxAct

Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state tax regulations

Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements

Identify and correct discrepancies in financial records

Provide support with tax planning and strategy

Communicate professionally with U.S.-based clients and internal team

Requirements:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines or equivalent

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with TaxAct

Strong working knowledge of U.S. tax laws and forms

Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks is a plus

Excellent written and verbal English skills

Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently

Stable internet connection

Working Hours:
Flexible, with some availability during U.S. business hours preferred
