JOB OVERVIEW

We’re two authors looking for a savvy, book-loving digital native to help us grow our online presence and connect with readers in authentic and exciting ways.

If you live and breathe social media—especially BookTok and Bookstagram—and you understand (or are hungry to learn about) the unique culture of author and reader spaces, we want you on our team. We write spicy monster and gay romance if this will offend you then this isn't the right fit for you.

Responsibilities:

* Manage and grow our presence on BookTok and Bookstagram, Blusky, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube
* Create engaging, on-brand content tailored to romance/genre fiction readers (including videos)
* Create graphics
* Schedule and post regularly across platforms
* Edit Videos
* Monitor trends and reader conversations to help us stay relevant and relatable
* Design and send email newsletters (4 times per month)
* Use tools like **ShadowScribe** (or similar) for book translation tasks
* Use a program like **Eleven Labs** to help create audiobook versions of our titles
* Collaborate with us on content calendars, promos, and long-term strategy

You might be a great fit if you:

* Are deeply familiar with BookTok and/or Bookstagram trends, tone, and reader expectations
* Understand author marketing (or are a fast learner and excited to dive in)
* Have experience with social media management and newsletter tools (like Mailerlite.)
* Are comfortable learning new platforms and AI tools (like ShadowScribe or Eleven Labs)
* Have a creative eye, strong writing skills, and a voice that connects with romance/genre fiction readers
* Are proactive, communicative, and can take initiative without constant supervision
* Are detail oriented

Bonus Points:

* Experience in the romance/genre fiction space (as a reader, creator, or editor)
* Graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
* Familiarity with Amazon KDP, BookFunnel, or similar tools
